Thanks everyone for your responses. I went about 3 weeks ago and I DID rent a car much to the dismay of my family. I got a GPS and it was most helpful. Even with the GPS there were a few twists and turns especially on the way back to airport but overall it was a success. I LOVE GPS systems...the car rental supplied me with the Garmin brand.
