Houseboat bachelor party

I am planning a boating trip to celebrate a friends bachelor party. I am looking for a destination in California that rents houseboats. One that combines beauty with modern conveniences and a young vibrant party scene. Does such a place exsist?

most places that have houseboat rentals are out in the country pretty far from "modern conveniences"

Places like Shasta Lake, the Sacramento Delta, New Melones etc - don't have much in the way of a vibrant party scene. They are more geared to laid back cruising, fishing, BBQs and family resorts.
