I have always had good luck with www.vrbo.com
(Vacation Rentals by Owner)

LA is huge. Some area are better than others. Do you know what area you are looking for?

Sounds like this person with his "bad" English is actually promoting his site... not nice.

I gave up on the web link. I thought I would fall asleep before the property listings appeared. Perhaps Bluestar29 should talk to the web master rather than spend time chatting up the site here.

Hey guys if you click on bluestar29 previous post you will see that it was a fodor poster by the name of moishe who has been around a bit longer who actually mentioned the site bluestar29 is asking information on www.homesforthemoment.com -

There is a disclaimer on their website which you should read. They have been in business since 2003.

I urge caution with any house rental. Do post back with more questions regarding your holiday in Los Angeles. Welcome to Fodors.

Sandy

bluestar29:

Sorry I don't know anything about the site you are requesting information on. Perhaps others will as the day goes on. This board is a bit slow on the weekend.

You may want to start another thread with a different heading. Something like "Short term rental Los Angles, CA". This will get you more replies because people will know what and where your question is about.

Tell us:
1) when you are coming
2) how many people
3) budget for lodging
4) any other special requests.

Good luck.

Sandy

Well - a site with the disclaimer removed is interesting. I wonder what it said - and what they will claim it said when you sign on.
