Hotels in New York? Help

my 2 girlfriends and I are coming to the
City and we are booked at the Salisbury.
I recently was looking on Trip Advisor and saw that Red Roof Inn is supposed to be good and economical too! Anybody have any info about these two hotels? We are staying for
5 nights and the difference between the two
is 225.00 for the 5 nights.

Try a search of this forum -- NYC hotels is one of the most-discussed topics. Good Luck!

It is one of my parents favorite hotels and they have stayed everywhere from the St. Regis to most of the Midtown East Suite Hotels. My father said it is one of the best bargains in the city and the location can't be beat.

I get the bonehead award today. I was writing about the Salisbury Hotel. I don't know a thing about the Red Roof Inn. If it matters, my parents have stayed at the New York Salisbury at least 15 times. Mr. William Alvarado, the General Manager is very good to my parents.
