Hotels close to Ship terminal in Seattle,Wash.
We are leaving on a cruise the last part of July and need a hotel in which to stay the night before. Any suggestions for a Marriott or Fairfield Inn or any Marriott properties close by . I wanna use points for the stay. SeaTac airport could be another option. Rather be closer, however. It will be just one night to sleep...does not have to be very very expensive. Just 3 0r 4 star.
Thanks

There is the Marriott Waterfront which is directly across from Pier 66 (where at least some of the cruiseships dock).
But pretty much ANY hotel in the central downtown core of Seattle will be a long walk or very short taxi ride away. It's not like some cities, Seattle is quite compact around this particular area.

Cruise ships depart from more than one pier in Seattle.
The Marriott Seattle Waterfront is very near Pier 66, if that is the pier your cruise line uses.
There is no Fairfield Inn anywhere near the waterfront, but there is a SpringHill Suites, by Marriott, a little north of downtown.
Downtown hotels are a short taxi ride to the piers.

There are five Marriott properties in Seattle proper - a Renaissance (in the downtown office core), a Residence Inn and a Courtyard at South Lake Union a little north of downtown, a Springhill Suites a little north of the office core, and an "official" Marriott (across the street from the Pier 66 cruise terminal (Norwegian and Celebrity, all other lines at Pier 91.) If you're sailing from Pier 91 all of them will be around a $15-$20 taxi ride. No downtown-area hotels in Seattle have airport shuttles.
There are also several, including a Marriott, Fairfield, and a Courtyard near the airport, and a couple more - Residence Inn, another Courtyard and a TownePlace (? - never stayed at one) in the Southcenter/Tukwila area close to the airport but may or may not have airport pickup available.
The Waterfront (Pier 66) Marriott is very popular with cruisers, so availability may be an issue with relatively short notice.
