Hotels and gas stations opened Christmas Day?

When you walk into the hotel/drive into the gas station on Christmas, the folks who serve you are already there. They have already made the sacrifice. Spend some money with them to make it worthwhile! It might make you feel warm and fuzzy to say "They should get the day off," but it does nothing for their financial wellbeing.
