Need hotel suggestions for LA. Considering Beverly Hills and Century City (something nice). Also suggestions on tours. Family traveling with two teenagers in LA 4 days.

Teenagers might enjoy staying at Le Meridien, where the American Idols stay when they're auditioning for the show.

The Beverly Hills Hotel is great! Can't beat it for that luxe "Hollywood" experience! Great service and rooms.

I'm partial to the Regent Beverly Wilshire, since that was the hotel in the movie "Pretty Woman." Are you considering doing the "Hollywood" thing? If so, you might consider staying in West Hollywood and going to all the Hollywood entertainment sights in the area. You can buy a pass that gets you into over a dozen museums in Hollywood. Not sure if you're into other stuff like the Getty museum or the beach.

Try Hotel Maison 140 on South Lasky drive!
It is located between Beverly Hills and Century City. I stayed there in 1997 while it was "Bervely House Hotel" and they have made some major work on the place since that. The location was very good.
For tours in LA i suggest you take "Starline Tours". Ask at the hotel and they can book it for you. Starline have a picup and droppoff service.
