Hotel Pick in San Francisco

My husband & I are travelling to San Francisco in July and I found a great hotel rate at the Mosser Victorian Hotel. Before I book it, any comments?

I don't know how it is inside the hotel, but the location is great- close to many shops (Union Square, SF Shopping Centre etc), restaurants, many types of transportations.
Remember to bring a jacket/ coat! SF summers are usually not very warm, and the wind can make it chilly at times! Have a great trip!

My cousin stayed there last year and commented that the rooms were small. Many hotel rooms in SF are small, this was her first stay in SF, so it may have been the norm. It is a great location though.

Does anyone know anything about the Courtyard by Marriott @ Fisherman's Wharf? I have reward points to stay CHEAP but don't know anything about the location or the prpoerty? Is it safe, clean, convenient, comparable to a standard Courtyard? Thanks a bunch!

No idea with Mosser,I dont know if you have a budget, but can suggest Parc 55 (usd 135) hotel near cyril magnin, few blocks from powell and market st. Nice location, another is Crowne Plaza. They are walking distance to Ross, macy's and nordstrom and of course the cable car.

Any more comments about the Mosser? I am looking for convenient location and inexpensive. The rate here is $49/night in the summer for a shared bathroom. As long as it's clean and in a relatively safe area, I will be happy.
Thanks for any comments.

Folks who are bidding on Priceline for a SF hotel are getting the Park Hyatt, a beautiful boutique hotel near Embarcadero Center and a 15-minute walk to Union Square, for $50 or $55/night. Go to www.biddingfortravel.com for a tutorial on how to do this. I have no connection to the hotel, PL or the website.

Also looking for info on the Mariott Courtyard Fishermans Wharf - I also have Mariott Rewards points.
Also - is 4 full days okay for a first timers visit? I would like to go to the wine country if possible.
Thank You
