Patq, I forgot to thank you for the hotel map and additional suggestion from the Embassy Suites. They're all booked for now; holding rooms for conventions. I have a reservation now at the Burnham but will probably go a cheaper route. Thanks, susan

ChiDad, I just called Murphy's Bleachers and they told me it would be fine to drop off bags. I just need to talk to the bartender. Thanks for a great solution. We'll probably just take a cab to the nearest blue line and head straight to O'Hare with having to go through downtown. Thanks, susan

"Allow extra time to clear security - try using the small security stations in terminal 1 at the far left as you enter, or in terminal 3 at the far right."
Oh my God, Patg! I have been stuck in some long security lines at O'Hare and it has never ocurred to me to use a different one than where I checked in! How stupid does that make me?
I'll be sure to remember this when we go to FL in a couple of months, thanks!
