Hotel in NYC--Buckingham or Millenium Broadway

Need help. Can't seem to decide between the two hotels. Read good and bad about both. Buckingham having dated furniture, no parking, no restaurant, but big rooms and good location. heard there is construction near the Hotel/Carnegie hall. Is that true?

Millenium Broadway. Some rooms dated, slow check in. Positives are full service hotel, valet parking, conceierge, etc.

Please give me some insight. Will be attending Jersey boys, St. Patty's parade and taking in the city. thanks!!

I don't know the Buckingham, but the Millennium Broadway is a fine, well-located hotel.

I've walked by that corner of West 57th street a kazillion times and don't recall ever seeing a hotel there.

Make sure The Buckingham isn't an illegally run hotel (search WooGo) in a residential building.

I checked Woogo but did not see the buckingham. The Buck does have it's own website and states that many performers at Carnegie stay there, etc. Now I am getting worried. Let me ask this, how far apart would you say the Millenium Broadway is from the Buckingham? I am leaning toward the Millenium, and would need to cx my Buck reservation today.
