hotel in Manassas, VA help please

Hi Everyone,

Looking for a hotel near Manassas, VA for Dec. 24-28 (visiting family in Bristow, VA). When I looked at Travelocity the best rate I could find was $77 for Holiday Inn Express, but when I went to book it, it was a "fully charged rate" with no refund. Any way to get those great rates on a low-budget hotel (i.e. <$100 night) without pre-paying?
Anyone have any comments between the niceness of Best Western Manassas, Holiday Inn Express, Courtyard by Marriott or Comfort Suites Manassas? Looking for cheap hotel that hopefully has free continental breakfast and a fitness center.

Thanks for any advice!

Hey Wildcat -- my son lives in Bristow -- small world.

There's a Marriott Springhill Suites Centreville on Exit 52 off of RT 66, about 5 miles from the RT 234 exit to downtown Manassas and about 10 miles from Bristow. They show a rate of $79 for the dates you need. They do have an indoor pool and fitness center -- don't know about breakfast, but the price is right. I don't think Marriott will make you pay upfront -- just use your CC to reserve/confirm.

I'll be there for Christmas also.

Definitely the Comfort Suites. I stay there when I go to concerts at Nissan Pavillion when I don't wnat to fight the traffic and drive home to Northern VA. Very nice hotel, just a few yrs old, good free breakfast and exercise room.

Oh, it does have breakfast, BTW, along with microwave/frig, and it's only about 3-4 years old.
