Hotel 1000 Seattle... Anyone been there?

Nothing comes up on this hotel here or on Tripadvisor. I know it is new but usually someone will post something!
Anyone been there?

This hotel opened only a week or two ago. It seems to be geared to the "W" crowd. The location is near the Seattle Art Museum, Pike Place Market, restaurants, shopping, etc.

When I walked into the lobby a week ago, the hotel restaurant was not yet open for lunch. Some classy looking people were sitting around an open table-top fireplace.

Well, I am considering using them for a meeting in October and must admit that it sounds great!

Hotel 1000 obviously wants to cater to an up-scale crowd. Any glitches should be worked out by October.

I can't get a handle on whether the property belongs to a family of hotels.

You might like to know that there seems to be a lot of satisfaction with the Grand Hyatt, which is near the heart of the retail core and the Washington State Convention Center. It is comparatively new and very well situated.

Yikes... I despise convention Hyatt properties. I just had a friend staying at the drab Hyatt on Wacker in Chicago for a week. I stayed at the Renaissance which was not much better.
This meeting is for 12 technology specialists.
The 1000 says it is technically 'cutting edge' so I thought it would be appropriate.
I did not realize it was so new!

Where is Hotel 1000? I'd like to walk by and have a look. We're always looking for new places for lunch.

Gee Tex, I didn't mean to offend you; I was just letting you know what I have heard and read over and over.

Enzian, Hotel 1000 is located at 1000 First Avenue where Warshal's Sporting Goods store was located for several decades.

I'll have to go take a look too. I'd not heard anything about a new hotel, and I only work the other side of downtown.

I found more information about Hotel 1000 and Madison tower (which is the residential upper floors):

Hotel 1000 and Madison Tower

Where: At the corner of First Avenue and Madison Street

Units: 47

Height: 24 stories

Prices: 877-square-foot, one-bedroom unit with a den begins at $545,000. Two-bedroom units top out at $2,255,000.

The lowdown: It will be anchored by a 120-room luxury boutique hotel managed by the same firm that runs Seattle's Sorrento Hotel and other luxury lodgings. Atop the hotel will be the Madison Tower. It features such amenities as a rooftop dog park and a wine cellar for owners' use.
