I've booked the Grand Hyatt, now where to eat.

I asked earlier about which hotel to stay in for a few days at Christmas and my one reply suggested I look at the Hyatt executive suite as I'll have my son with me. I did, and had a really great price of $770 for 3 nights. I'm sure because of the season. If that Steak House is closed, where would you suggest we go for Christmas evening dinner? After the holidays I can write a review of Mayflower Park, Marriott Waterfront, and now Hyatt.
Thanks, Joan

On Christmas Eve, Ruth's Chris, in your hotel, will be open. Other nearby options on www.opentable.com include Tulio and Il Fornaio (Italian,) McCormick & Schmick (fish), and Sazerac (New Orleans). There are many fewer options on the 25th, when Seattle basically closes down.

Thanks guys, I should know by now how to post a queston. Yes, it is Seattle and I want someplace we can get something to eat Christmas night in case the Steakhouse in our hotel is closed. Tell me, did I pick the right hotel? I will go back to Mayflower Park many times, I just wanted something in a different area and the price was right for that suite. I thought of Inn At The Market, I'll save it for another time. Since I might not get back to Ireland, I'm spending my trip money for little short trips around here. Thanks ! Joan

I saw on the suggested website that Il Bistro is open that day. It is a lovely Italian restaurant in Pike Place Market (if you want something different than steaks).

Chatham,

I'm from Seattle. Look at what I found for you: http://www.nwsource.com/restaurants/...tmas_dine.html

It's an article for dining spots open on Christmas Day. I like Andaluca and have heard good reviews of Brasserie Margaux and Six Seven. Of course, the article says Ruth's Chris is open.

NWsource.com is a great website - I go to it when I'm looking for good restaurants.

Have a good one.

Suzie, starrsville, LoveItaly, suze, happytrailstoyou , and papaguaysun, you have all been a great help. We have Christmas dinner reservations for Ruth Chris and the other 2 nights I'll check out some of the places you've mentioned. The web-sites have been very helpful.
I hope everyone has their power back on where ever you are. I think most of Bainbridge,Wa. is back as of last night. Now, the rockies are getting it.
Best Wishes, Joan
