Asheville, NC -- mid to upper 80's, with high humidity and a fair chance of thunderstorms late afternoon, for the past several weeks and the next several weeks too -- drought sucks. These dinky thunderboomers aren't doing it for me. I miss the days when WNC could count on at least 65 inches of rain a year -- it would usually rain once a week or so... sigh... those were the good old days.

Will be in the 90's today and tomorrow but back down to the 70's on Wednesday here in NYC. The city was blanketed in haze on Saturday and Sunday from forrest fires up in Quebec.
