Honolulu-house/hotel rental

Going to O'ahu and looking for peace and quiet. Don't want to be in Waiki (sp?) with traffic and noise. Want to be on the beach with a balcony and good book. Only 2 nights with my husband. Anyone know where I should stay?
Peace and Quiet (with an amazing view) is my goal!!!
Let me add...a close up view. Not 3 miles away.

You're missing a "ki" (haha).

Waikiki

Sorry don't know anything to suggest that fits what you describe. I think going for a hotel will be easier, renting a house for only 2 nights will be more difficult to find (as many rent by the week).

I thought about turtle bay, but the recent reviews aren't great. Any other ideas?

by far the greatest concentration of hotels on Oahu are in Waikiki area. You could look at VRBO, which is where most people seem to find their rentals, but again I think the 2 day thing will be an issue.
