honeymoon help

Hi - I am helping my future sister-in-law plan her honeymoon. She's getting married on Valentine's day 2004 and is looking for a romantic week in the Colorado, Wyoming or California area. They are active people, but are just looking to lounge for the week. And somewhere preferably where there aren't a lot of kids. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I would stay at the Alpenhof Lodge in the Teton Village. Great skiing outside your door

Not that much further north is Banff, Canada. Stay at the magnificent Banff Springs Hotel. Great scenery, winter sports, huge complex with a full luxury spa, shopping, many restaurants right in the hotel...a perfect destination.

Oh, I second the Mendocino area of California. Anywhere from Point Reyes, which is north of San Francisco to Mendocino is beautiful. We've done this trip several times, and we've never tired of it.
