Holiday Inn Greenbelt, Md

Any advice on staying here for a 3 day DC visit?

I stayed a few miles further (Laurel) than H.I. Greenbelt for a visit to DC a few years ago. For the little time it takes to ride the Metro to DC from Greenbelt vs. the money saved staying up there, it's a good plan. I don't know anything about the hotel itself, other than I don't think it has a courtesy shuttle to the station. I assume you're using Metro?

FYI I was told today by HI that they do not have shuttle to Metro. I think the closest Metro is about 2 miles so we'll just drive to it and take our changes on parking.

Thanks for input. We're staying in that area because it's close to relatives we will be visiting.

I stayed at that hotel last year on business. I found it to be a nice, quiet comfortable hotel. I preferred it over the Marriott Courtyard down the street. It is located in an office park and doesn't have a lot to offer nearby in terms of restaurants but does have a lively bar.

You should have no problem parking at Greenbelt Metro, I don't think it EVER fills up. The train ride is about 25 minutes.
