Holiday Gift Ideas for Maui Visitor?

Hello. I'm racking my brain trying to come up with an inexpensive gift idea for a co-worker, and I think it would be fun to get her something she can use on her next trip to Maui (in summer 2007). She goes about every other year, and travels with her husband and 6 year-old daughter. I believe they stay in a condo in Kihei. I thought it might be fun to get her a gift certificate to some sort of family-friendly food place--restaurant, bakery, BBQ, even local grocery store. I'm thinking about $25. Any other ideas or recs for specific businesses would be appreciated! (I don't want to get her a guidebook because she has been many times.)Many thanks in advance!

Those are great ideas! I would try and get specifics from her about where they like to eat or shop and get gift certificates from there. Or ask if they plan to anything new or special the next time they go. That might get you some other ideas. What a nice (and thoughtful) co-worker you are

Aw, thanks for the kudos and for the suggestion. I tried to get more info, but couldn't get specifics. I do know they prefer to avoid eating in restaurants, since they're on a family budget. And they LOVE to snorkel! Again, if anyone has suggestions for a useful gift certificate, I'd really appreciate it!

Unfortunately, ABC doesn't seem to offer gift certificates online. I've e-mailed them, but in case that's a no-go, can anyone recommend maybe a pre-made meals service or a good place for takeout or treats around Kihei? I read of a meals service called Dish...is that any good? (I'm also looking into grocery stores.)

Does they like wine? We drove past this place a couple times and I'm bummed we never got to go in. Maybe they could do a gift certificate.
