yarn shops in Lahaina, or Kaanapali

Hi, while I am relaxing in the sun on the beach, I would like to knit. I can bring yarn frm home, but would really like to buy in Maui. Are there any knitters who can suggest a shop or shops
in that particular area. Thanks very much.
I do not wish to go to Kihei.

I don't remember seeing anything like this in the Lahaina/Kaanapali area. Perhaps you could stop at the Walmart or Kmart over by the airport? We stopped there when we first got in on our way to the hotel to pick up things to take to the room with us.

There is a needlework shop in the 505 Front St complex in Lahaina. They have lots of great stuff there, including yarn. The 2 ladies who own the shop are really nice. I've bought a couple of counted cross stitch kits there & hae loved working on them as a reminder of my beloved Maui.

Many thanks to - mauigirl50, dusty56438, and chasechow-
I really am grateful for your replies.
Obviously, I could bring yarn from home - but I wanted the Hawaiian connection for whatever I was knitting. Thanks very much.

I thank you all too. I wanted to look for quilting fabric and other things to incorporate into a quilt. One of the web sites had quilting items. Thanks again

The Swap Meet on Oahu has a lot of quilting squares with Hawaiian print. I presume these are available at the Maui Swap Meet.

The ones on Oahu come in two sizes, about 4-6 inch squares and 6-8 inch squares. They are in stacks about 3-4 inches high and are $3-$4 per stack.

My sister-in-law bought some when she was here.

Many other stores including WalMart and Fabric Stores have Hawaiian Print fabric.
