HOgwarts!!

Okay I live 20 minutes from Disney and have for the last 25 years and have only been twice! Once was just to visit the French Pavilion to buy some Quimper. But the new Harry Potter area opens today and there is so much hype here and in the UK , I'm tempted!! And I loved the books and movies.

Anyone planning a special trip to see it?I hope if you do you'll also take the time to come into Orlando and Winter Park and see what other things the area has to offer.

I also live close by, but this http://www.wesh.com/news/23948485/detail.html is probably an accurate preview of what to expect in the near future. Oh yes, don't forget to factor in the almost daily thunderstorms. If you can't wait a few months to come, at least you will know what to expect now.

I hear they were lined up on I-4 before dawn this morning, just trying to get into the Universal garage. Phooey! I want to sip a butterbeer without being shoulder to shoulder with other Harry Potter fans. Looks like I'll need a little magic to do that.

Im waiting a few months for all the craziness to die down a bot and the heat!! Maybe the beginning of December - that tends to be low season.

I live 5 minutes from Universal, and you can bet I will not even attempt to go until sometime in the fall when the crowds have thinned and the newness wears off.

Heard great things about it and heard butterbeer was really tasty. Can't wait to go but am not planning on it until Jun 2011

Just be sure you are a relatively thin muggle - fat ones are being tuned away. "You said to us once before," said Hermione quietly, "that there was time to turn back if we wanted to. We've had time, haven't we?"

A bit disappointed to know that two of the three rides in that section are simply renamed rides from pre Harry Potter.
