Hilton Head? July with kids 8-13

Are there any condos/hotels on the beach with cool pools for the kids 8-13 that would rent for less than a week?

Contact Marriott for their timeshares, I think they do nightly. Generally 1 week stays in the area. And the hotels should allow nightly stays

We may now stay a week. I see a lot of different areas, Palmetto Dunes, Sea Pines, Shipyard plantation, Port Royal. Is one better than the other?

We stayed Oceanfront in a condo/villa a couple of summers ago. We stayed in the Palmetto dunes area and in the Windsor Court complex. It was very nice and clean, but the pool was average. We were traveling with family and everyone had their own condo. There was a Hilton down the road that looked okay. I am not sure who would have cool pools, but my kids enjoyed their vacation there with their cousins. We used islandgetaway.com and booked it about two months before we went. I looked online to see what was available and called up. I had never been before and I was not disappointed. I read your other post about Atl. and my kids would rather be at a beach than in a city.

The closer you are the your arrival date the more likely a condo will split a week for you. I have had good success with www.vrbo.com. You may want to book a hotel that you can cancel later if you find something better and then start contacting condo owners about a month out.

I don't remember any great pools at HH. It seems like Myrtle Beach is more into pools.
