Highlands Restaurants

Am headed to Highlands, NC next weekend and wanted to get some recs on restaurants. We have one vegetarian in the group. Any thoughts on Paolettis or Cafe of the Arts? We're looking for two great places for dinner. Thank you!

We had a nice two night stay in Highlands, North Carolina

We enjoyed our stay at the 4 1/2 Street Inn. Would recommend it.

Our favorite dinner of our week long trip was at Wild Thyme Gourmet. The lemon mousse cake was spectacular.

We had very good casual lunch at Oak Street cafe.

Thanks everyone for your recommendations. Had a great trip to the Highlands. Ate at Paolettis which was really nice Italian food. But truthfully, the best meal was at a little deli on the corner (across from the Ace Hardware on Main Street...name escapes me) where you order at the counter. Best turkey sandwich I've ever had. And the brownies were worth throwing your Atkins out the window. We wound up eating there three times.
