Maui-Kapalua area restaurants

Deciding in the area we want to eat. We are staying at the Kapalua Bay Hotel. We have decided on Sansei for sure (love sushi) and are thinking of:

Bay Club
Plantation House
Roys

Cant decide which, I know Bay Club and Plantation house has views but Roys doesnt. Any ideas which one I should shoot for. We may be able to go to 2 of the 3, defenitly 1. We have restaurants picked for Lahiana, etc but want to have a few nights where we are really close to the hotel.

Basco, if you and/or your S.O. like chocolate, you want to go eat at Roy's just to have the chocolate souffle for dessert! It's unbelievable .... just wonderful! (And so is the rest of the dinner there...........)

I second the vote for Roy's! Great, inventive menu, delicious food, excellent service. And I had the chocolate souffle too...it's to die for! Trish

I believe S.O. refers to Significant Other.

Plantation House. You can eat at a Roys in Vegas, or Texas or Baltimore, but the only Planation House is in Kapalua. The salads alone at the PH are reason enough to go there.

Basco, will you be vacationing in Vegas, Texas or Baltimore soon? If not, I'd eat at that Roy's while I had the chance!;-) Seriously, I like Roy's a lot...... and it would be very convenient for you there.

Roy's is basically in a charmless strip mall, but the food is heavenly. Get your views elsewhere--go to Roy's for the food!

There's also one in Palm Desert, CA that is great!

Or Roy's in Chicago. My vote is for the Bay Club. Unbelievable views, particularly at sunset. We thought the food was outstanding. We were disappointed with the Plantation House.

At the very least, go there for a drink and an appetizer.

Yeah, there's a Roy's in NYC too...but we don't go there. We only go when we're in Hawaii. Too many other good choices in NYC! When in Maui, Go to Roy's...it's soooo delicious!

My response is a little late and I might be alone but I loved eating at the Banyan Tree restaurant at the Ritz Carlton...
