Help with Seattle hotel

Does anyone know of a Seattle hotel that offers complimentary shuttle to the airport AND to the downtown Seattle area?

Thanks,

Kim

But you can take a non-stop Metro bus from the airport to downtown and vice-versa; it's nearly free ($1.25). www.transit.metrokc.gov/

No--the airport hotels will have shuttle service to and from the airport but not to downtown. And the downtown hotels don't have shuttle service to the airport. But as was pointed out there is Metro Bus service.

No, none of the hotels here do that (except the ones down at SeaTac for the short hop over to SeaTac airport).

Besides using Metro public transportation system (which I do not necessary recommend if you have a suitcase of a larger size...)

there is the Downtown Airporter by Greyline. It's a shuttle that goes from SeaTac and loops thru downtown stopping at the major hotels (Sheraton, Warwick, etc.) They have a website and run other type tours. It's a full-size very nice bus and set up to handle luggage ~$10?

Just a caution -- don't want to set up a firestorm of controversy here -- but since I was the one who first suggested the Metro bus I would like to add that I would only do this during daylight hours. The bus does pass through some fairly seedy areas on its way to downtown.

I don't think Metro is necesssarily dangerous even at night, but I DO think it takes longer and is a hassle with a suitcase. And is nothing I would recommend for someone visiting Seattle for the first time.

A taxi will be not more than $40 max. or the shuttle for $10.25.

KimPossible: Every time I travel to Seattle for business, I stay at the Warwick. My wife goes with me because the hotel offers a local shuttle in the downtown area. I think it's a two mile radius of of the hotel. Not sure about a shuttle to the airport.
