Help with Phoenix resorts and restaurants...

We are going to take the teens to BodyWorld Memorial Day weekend. Anyone seen it? Heard it is pretty awesome and since one of them is considering the medical field, thought it might be interesting.

But haven't been to the area in a while. Any suggestions on resorts and restaurants? Or cool, fun intersting places to also see? We have been to the BOB. We will probably stay in Scottsdale and drive to the exhibit. Thanks.

The JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa is very nice. Roy's is located on the premises, with both indoor and outdoor seating (by the fire pit and reflecting pool). The food is very good too.

Right around the corner from the science museum where the exhibit is, is Pizzeria Bianco - upscale, artisinal pizza that really is wonderful. There is always a line, but if you get there 20 to 30 minutes before it opens, you'll be in the first seating. The food and atmosphere are really good: http://www.pizzeriabianco.com/

Any other suggestions about dining in Phoenix area for a family of four with two teens who hate seafood (but we love it).

Heavens,

Our trip to Phoenix was cut short, but I can tell you that there are at least 30 different places to eat in the Desert Ridge Road complex. So I don't think you'll have difficulty pleasing teens. Maybe someone can give you some specific recommendations.

Restaurants: all on Scottsdale Road, and friendly to teens - - - Houston's (LOVE IT), Garduno's, TaiFoon.

You know, I have heard a lot about Houstons and don't think I have ever been to one. Are they just really good chains? Why are they so special if you don't mind me asking...

Hey Heavens..
Do you have your hotel yet?
I got some killer deals on Expedia for the 5* Phoenician (169) and the Boulders(129)..I am going in July which maybe the reason for the super low rates..thought you should know..
I like eating at Carlos O'Briens for good Mexican food in Scottsdale & Phoenix...the food is really good and they serve plenty for those hungry teens and its reasonable too!

If the Phoenix Suns are still around that time and play a home game I think that will definitely be a "cool, fun intersting places to also see".
