Help with luggage storage NY

Hello travellers, help needed! We will be staying in NY for 5 nights (February) then going for 10 days to the Caribbean and flying back home to Italy from New York. I was hoping to leave a suitcase with our winter clothes at JFK airport but I'm having trouble getting information on where storage if any is located. Alternatively I thought we could spend the two nights between the islands in an airport hotel which would be convenient if they could hold our luggage but all FAQs mention luggage storage for a few hours only. I have tried emailing but no replies. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Per the JFK website there is Left Luggage in three different terminals - Link:

Edit: the website is confusing and it seems what I linked is way out of date. Maybe ask on FlyerTalk. They know JFK intimately and you should get a definitive answer in no time.

More research brought up this (different) page on the airport website:

https://www.jfkairport.com/at-airpor...s-and-services

Phone numbers are provided so you can call to verify if needed

Just to add one thing - on the page janisj links to - select "Services and Amenities" and then on "Baggage Storage".

I also did a quick Google search On 'Baggage Storage JFK' and go this result https://www.luggagestorage-nyc.com/j...uggage-storage

Hope one of these works for you. Enjoy your stay in NYC and your stay in the islands,

No first-hand experience but if you will be spending your very last night in New York at a hotel before your flight home, would they hold your bags? OR would the first New York hotel hold the luggage? If you don't need your coats, could you ship them to Italy? Good luck with this.

Thank-you all. Unfortunately I am unable to call those numbers from Italy. I have just tried emailing the Terminal 5 baggage wrap service to see if they also do storage. Let's see if they reply.
We will be staying at The Ludlow in Manhattan but since we have early flights I reckoned it would be better to stay near JFK on both ends of the trip. However I will try TDudette's suggestion and see if that could work. I might be being over fearful about getting in and out of town.
I was hoping the TWA hotel would store bags as it is so convenient and seems fun but they say no on theis FAQs .
Anyway, thanks a lot for your help will let you know!

I have never used Luggage Hero but there is a site close to JFK, possibly near a hotel.

Maybe there is some sort of limitation by your carrier. Did you use the correct county and area codes?

A quick update with info that might be useful to others:
I contacted a few of the above links and got the following responses: Terminal 5 - no baggage storage available from either Secure Wrap or Jet Blue. At terminal 4 the baggage storage site says they will only hold bags for 48 hours but I emailed them and they replied saying that they could issue a special permission, however the price is 35$ per day same as for short term.
Luggagehero has several options but the most convenient to JFK does not open until 8am so that wouldn't work for us.
Our Manhattan hotel said they would keep the suitcase for us if we go back there on our last night so that is what we will do! It will mean going back and forth but better than lugging our stuff around while island hopping!
So hopefully problem solved and thank-you all for your help.
