Help with hotels in the LA area
Hello all
We are planning a trip in the Los Angeles area.
Things we would like to see, Rodeo Drive, Mann's Chinese Theatre, Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, etc
We will have 2 kids with us and a couple of things that are important to us.
1. Air conditioning
2. Pool
3. None shabby rooms
4. Under $250 per night
What area should be concentrate our search on and any recommandations would be welcomed

What about Summerfield Suites in West Hollywood. Parking below the building. Rooftop pool with great views. You can get a one bedroom suite for that price with a small kitchen, that you probably won't use as full breakfast buffet is also included.

I like Santa Monica very much. I've also stayed across the street from Mann's Chinese Theatre at the Roosevelt, a historic building. But I think if I were there for awhile I'd rather stay in Santa Monica.

For that price, you should definitely check out the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel, a Marriott. It's newer, with nice rooms, a great Hollywood location, and would be a good family choice. Check out the reviews of this hotel in tripadvisor.com. (Look at Hollywood, Ca.). It's very popular.
