Help with Door County lodging choices

Have narrowed it down, I think, to Village Green Lodge and Eagle Harbor Inn, in Ephraim, or Church Hill Inn in Sister Bay. This would be toward the end of July. We are two adults in our fifties, and prefer a place without kids, high thread count sheets, nice rooms, etc. Thanks,

My parents have stayed at Church Hill Inn for years. Pretty rooms, good service, nice sedate atmosphere, no kids. It's a little away from "downtown" but there is a shopping mall next door.

We know people that have stayed at he Church Hill Inn for years and really like it. We usually stay in a small ( not fancy) waterfront motel in Jacksonport, but when we're looking for something more upscale we stay at the Scandinavian Lodge in Sister Bay.We've rented both one and two bedroom condos and liked them.

If you do stay in Sister Bay, the Sister Bay Bowl has one of Door County's more famous Friday night fish fries (it's a Wisconsin thing and not to be confused with a fish boil). It is very crowded though so we usually go there for lunch instead.

Sorry, can't be of any help on your other choices.

PS. Your message is not showing on the Wisconsin board. You'd probably have more luck if it were.

Just wondering - saw another post stating door county is the cape cod of the midwest. What's your take on that?
