Help with Atlanta Airport

Arriving at Atlanta Hartsfield tonight. Need to meet a colleague who is also flying in. Was going to propose we meet at baggage claim area for her flight (from San Francisco) but I am confused by the airport website. It tells me her baggage claim for that flight is 5 but when I look at the airport map it appears there is a baggage claim 5 in both North Terminal and South Terminal. But how do I tell in advance which terminal? (It's Delta airlines.)

PS. Here is the terminal map in PDF, with the airlines listed for each side (Delta, Air France, Aero Mexico are South, everything else is North):

Delta is South (red).
No matter which airline she flies, she'll be coming up the escalator from the trains and then turning right for North/blue signs or left for South/ red signs.

Most people wait at the top of the escalator to watch for folks coming in.

If you want to meet her at the carousel, it will be at 5 in South.

There's a bank of monitors above so you can check when the flight has arrived. It takes a while for the bags to make it to baggage claim.

Park? If both parties are flying in and meeting at the airport, I'd meet at the baggage carousel for the later flight, as the OP stated. The crowd at the top of the escalators can get very big, and if you know she has to get a bag, the carousel will be easier imho, and it will take some time for the bag to arrive. Be sure to monitor the monitors for the carousel, because that could change.

Unless one person is arriving a few hours ahead of the other, then it might make sense to go out and get a rental car (assuming you are getting one), and then park and come back. But it doesn't sound like that is the case here.
