Help! which Hilton Hotel?

A friend and I are going to LV for my 30th birthday, we are planning on going on the 21st of Nov for 4 nights.

I am going to book a Hilton reward stay but don't know which one! can anyone advise? we like a nicer hotel but we also like to party! I doubt we'll be in the room much however if we are waking up hungover it would be nice to do it in a decent room!!!!

any suggestions apprecited.

Hilton is very weak in LV. The Hilton Las Vegas is off the strip but it is connected to the monorail. It has a full size casino, many restaurants, bars but the rooms are somewhat old and tired. Probably the best place to party without getting in trouble with security.

Embassy Suites, located right next the the Hilton on Paradise Rd. may be a good option. It does not have a casino but the the suites are new, very nice and roomy. Seerate bedroom, living room and a fridge, microwave, etc.

The Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs are on the strip and they offer 1 and 2 bedroom condos with full kitchens. They don't have a casino on premises but are on a strip right next to a hotels/casinos. The problem may be that these properties cater to families so having loud parties may not be the best idea.

Avoid Doubletree. It's located t the end of the strip right across the street from the airport. Loooong walks to casinos or expensive taxi rides.

And finally the Hampton Inns. Nothing to get excited about, bad locations and it is what it is, a Hampton Inn.

Our family (2 younger girls) stayed at the Hilton Las Vegas (3000 Paradise). We stayed at this particular location because it was off the strip.

2 years ago the rooms were okay; clean, spacious but dated. Looking at the web site it looks like the rooms have been updated.

We loved everything about this hotel a GREAT Italian restaurant (reservations required), casino, pool area, breakfast buffet, spa and the plus for us since we didn't have a car the monorail stopped right at the hotel.

I am not much help as to the "party" atmosphere, but the hotel was decent since we also stayed for free!

Hi thanks for the quick replies! I have been looking at the HGV on the strip.

We don't intend on having loud parties in our room, that's what the clubs are for!! just somewhere fairly decent to sleep and recover! As I have so many Hilton points it seemed like a good plan to use them!

I have stayed at the Las Vegas Hilton and all three of the Grand Vacation projects. We like the one next to the Flamingo because it is right in the middle of the best part of the Strip. The newest HGV project is very nice, but at the far end of the strip with nothing very close by. The Wynn is in walking distance, but even that is a little ways away. Of course, November is not the hottest time of the year, so walking is possible AND you are young, so the new project might work okay for you. Finally, the Las Vegas Hilton and the HGV there are quite self-contained with many restaurants and a casino. It also has access to the rest of the Strip via the monorail, but it otherwise far from other casinos. If you will have a car -- no problem, location-wise, for any of them. This late, however, it may be a challenge to get a place at any of the Grand Vacation projects.
