In this economy, don't assume that the "always sold out" shows are sold out - don't pay above market ticket prices. I bought tickets to the "always sold out" Lion King in January for early July...mezzanine first row center. I can't use the tickets and checked to see if that performance is sold out (to gauge my chance at resale)....not only is the show not sold out, but the seats right behind mine are available! Mezzanine second row center, available less than 3 weeks in advance. But yet I stil see web sites selling the tickets above market because it is a "sell out."

Rock of Ages is funny and great - even if you're not a 'big hair, 80's music" fan. I didn't think the number they did on the Tony's last night did it justice.
