Help...Solo Girl Needs Relax Vacation site...

Okay, so I could not fit everything in on the message title. I need your help...below are the prerequisites for travel...any opinions/advice are desired...Thank you in advance!

1) Solo...so safety.
2) Need to destress.
3) Love the outdoors.
4) Ideal day...being active, or else sitting at the pool/beach/lake reading and taking it all in.
5) Ideal evening...much like the day sitting on the patio overlooking a body of water definitely a glass of wine. Dining out is fine but nothing stuffy...casual and friendly.

Does not matter what part of the country...or another country works for me as well.

Am I asking too much?!?!?

You have perfectly described my solo vacations in Puerto Vallarta Mexico.

Pacific Northwest? An island or a nice cabin near water in a woodsy area? Mt. Rainier?

Perhaps one of the Hawaiian neighbor islands, maybe Maui or Kauai? Or if you really want to get far away from the maddening crowd, Molokai.

Waikiki/Honolulu is also a real easy solo trip. Excellent public transportation so you don't need a car, unless you want one.

Depends on the time of year, but I would definitely only recommend the Pacific Northwest in summer time (I live here and that's why I go to Mexico or Hawaii for winter vacations!)
