Boy, is Ft. Lauderdale that bad? I'm worried about the weather in November for San francisco. We were leaning towards Florida. I know it won't be like Hawaii, I just love that place, but it'll be a nice inexpensive vacation. We don't want to spend a whole lot of money. We can get some great prices on airfare to Ft. Lauderdale which is also a big plus!!

For God's sake ! I would choose SFO unless all you wanna do is lying on the beach looking at the sea. Florida is soooooooooo flat and equal you rental car will not take you to many different and amusing places . SFO itself and sorroudings are much much better. Enjoy

I checked the airfare for San Francisco and it's going to be a LOT more than Ft. Lauderdale. I found airfare for Ft. Lauderdale for $69.00 each way. Plus I live in the midwest- Michigan. Mote, I hear the weather is rainy and colder in November? I don't want to go there with bad weather! I would be quite disappointed.

Save your money and do Fort Lauderdale. November is not a great time in San Francisco, in fact, I don't know that you ever go to San Francisco for the weather. I love San Francisco but your preferences definitely point you toward a Fort Lauderdale vacation. Get a nice resort and relax.

Lilley,
Okay, the good news is that all this chatting helped you to figure out where you really want to go considering finances, weather conditions, etc. You need to go to Ft. Lauderdale. Have a great time and go to San Francisco when that location is the one that works out best for you at another time.
