Help-Need to Switch from Napa to Sonoma

Due to a logistical issue, we (wife and I celebrating 10-year Anniversary) need to stay in Sonoma County instead of the Wine Country Inn in Napa/St. Helena. This is late-June into early July (3 nights). Can someone recommend places to stay in Sonoma that (1) are romantic (2) has a pool, and (3) bigger than a small B&B but smaller than a big hotel. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Well, let's see. Romantic inns do not usually have a pool.

The Sonoma Valley Inn is a Best Western Property but its rooms are built around a pretty courtyard with both a pool and a spa.

It is just a few blocks from the pretty Plaza in the historic town of Sonoma, which is ringed with adobe buildings from the Mexican occupation days, now housing boutiques, restaurants, a hotel, etc.

Highly recommend the MacArhtur Place
http://www.macarthurplace.com/ near Sonoma Square.

Pool, spa, great rooms, restaurant...all there.

Get a cottage room at the Lodge at Sonoma or a room overlooking the pool. Don't get any room facing a parking lot though!!!! Great pool, great Raindance Spa, great room service. In Sonoma.

How about the Honor Mansion in Healdsburg? It is a beautiful Inn with a swimming pool. It consistently gets rave reviews. I am staying there in April. It is very romantic.
