Help for Maui Honeymoon hotel...Sheraton or Aston Mahana?
We are going to Maui for part of our honeymoon and I am having some trouble deciding on our hotel/condo.
Due to our budget and interests we have narrowed it down to these choices:
Sheraton Maui
Aston Mahana at Kaanapali
Westin Maui Resort
Right now we are primarily debating between the Sheraton and the Aston Mahana at Kaanapali.
Sheraton was our first choice but for about the same price as a standard ocean view room at the Sheraton we can the premium 1 bedroom ocean view suite at the Aston Mahana. It's reviewed the highest on TA out of our choices but it's more mid-range than we usually do and it's a condo-hotel, so not as many amenities.
Westin looks nice as well but the bed type is not guaranteed and there are a lot of complaints online about getting 2 full beds....really don't want to risk that on our honeymoon. Has anyone had issues with this?
We definitely want an ocean view and enjoy more of a relaxed vibe than busy. We are in our late 20's and will be renting a car. Any input?

My issue with the Aston is its location north of Black Rock. When I stay at Kaanapali, I prefer to be in the area between the Hyatt and the Sheraton (among other things, it makes walking around in the evening easier; also accessing the restaurants within the development). If you intend to go elsewhere for dinner every night it's probably not as much of an issue for you because you'd be driving anyway (even into Lahaina).
