Philadelphia has a fantastic Art Mucsum. Also the Rodin Museum in the same area.
Go to the Visitor's Center and het your free ticket to Indiepndence Hall. It will give you a time for your visit. Also visit the Constitution Center, Franklin Couirst, etc. These are all in the same area. There are also walking tours which are great.

Central City is a compact area in Philly, there are many hotels within walking distance of everything. Take a look at Holiday Inn Independence Mall. Check out the Constitution Center and Independence Hall as well as many other places. I would suggest getting tickets on line ahead of time for most events to avoid long lines.
