We are coming to the Wine Road this weekend too (coming from Arizona for it) - arrive Fri around noon and leave Mon to head back to Oakland to catch a flight.
We are going to try to do some of the Dry Creek area wineries on Fri and Russian River on Sat. Thanks for the heads up on the bridge.
Maybe we will meet up with some of you this weekend. First time in this area, so really looking forward to it.

vsd, I would recommend putting A. Rafanelli somewhere near the top of your list. It's one of my favorites in the Dry Creek area. They are not pouring on Friday, and if you go on Saturday or Sunday, go early. They draw a large crowd, and their wines are superb.

vsd, give yourself plenty of time to get back to Oakland. We almost missed our flight last time we were there. It took us an hour and a half longer than expected. Traffic on 101 going south at certain times can be really bad.Have fun!

Hi Razzle, I read this post last night and then co-incidently on the Channel 7 eleven oclock news they reported that the bridge will be repaired by the end of this year. Hope it doesn't take as long as the Oakland-SF Bridge rebuilding is taking!
