For what it's worth, we loved the Warren and Annabelle show. Thought it was hilarious and definitely worth the the $36 or so that they charged. We didn't buy any food there.

Just back from Maui. I highly recommend the Trilogy trip to Lanai. Great fun! Started at 6:15 a.m. and back to Lahaina by 4 p.m. This was my second trip with Trilogy and they are great.

I'll enthusiastically "third" the Mama's Fish House recommendation. Go for lunch, though. You'll enjoy the view more during the day and won't need to spend as much (although still expensive). Also, we LOVED Nick's Fishmarket at the Kea Lani. And my absolute favorite was David Paul's in Lahaina. It's not on the beach, so it often gets overlooked, but the food is amazing. Try the firecracker shrimp. Mmmm....

Our (Alamo) Wrangler had a little gate in the back, giving a semi-secure lockable area behind the back seat. Console between front seats was lockable too. Zip out windows were a pain. I think it would be very easy to flip one of these, the steering is very direct and it has a wonderful tight turning circle !
We wanted to go up to Polipoli park but it'd rained so much we didn't do it, even with 4wd. The cloud ceiling was very low too.
A fun drive is around the west end, from Kapalua to Wailuku, it gets very narrow in places, makes Hana road look like a freeway.
Have a great trip.
Paul

Thanks for all the great info - I actually changed our cars to be a Jeep on the Big Island since I definitely want one there for the Mauna Koa trip, and a Pathfinder for Maui (not sure if it's 4WD, but at least it's high off the ground.

Thanks again - will fill you all in after April 20.
