Hawaii fly drive hotel packages

Message: I am planning on staying on Maui and the Big Island when I go to Hawaii in February.
I am looking for recommendations on fly, hotel, drive packages for moderate price accommodations. If you recommend getting the fly, hotel and drive separately, please suggest names. Thank you

One idea is to start with whatever airline(s) serve the airport you want to fly out of. Last year we used American Airlines package for 12 nights split between Kaua'i and O'ahu, flying out of St Louis, for about $2600. that included 9 days of rental car. Just go to the airline's web site and you will see a link for their vacation pkgs. with American I could see what hotels they offered and get an idea of prices, but I couldn't set up more than one destination on the web site; I called them and they were very helpful.

Dennis,
I have used Suntrips a few times to Maui and stayed at The Kaanapali Beach Hotel. I can't remember what the cost was, but it was reasonable. There is nothing fancy about the KBH except it is in a location on Kaanapali Beach that the Hyatt or Westin would kill for.

To clarify my earlier post, $2600 was for 2 adults.

I just booked our trip through Costco Travel. We are getting airfare, rental car, inter island flights and accomodations for 8 nights.
We also got quotes from Auto Club and an Apple Vacations travel agent.
Costco was the best gig.
We are going to Kauai and Maui.
The package is the way to go from what everyone told me.

A 2nd. for Costco. Their package with car and daily breakfast was less than anything else I found for the same property WITHOUT car and brkfst.
