So, food trucks make good food? My mind goes to construction sites and plastic wrapped processed food! Looks like the eat the street event was a success! I am busy checking out the possibilities!
We love breakfast, so the Shorebird on Oahu looks like a winner for at least one day! Any other breakfast spots for Kauai, and Big Island?
Definitely will be trying the malasadas! I have heard of those already!
Wanting to have great memories of our time together, and food (good and bad) is always a memory maker!!!

On the North Shore of Oahu, stop at Romy's shrimp shack if you like shrimp. The garlic butter shrimp are amazing. Pick up a slice of dream cake from Ted's Bakery and have it on Sunset Beach for dessert. For breakfast, try Cinnamon's and don't miss their red velvet pancakes!

Plate lunches are on all islands, a throwback to plantation days. You can get plate lunches at food trucks (not necessarily the ones on Twitter). One of my favorites now is Ono To Go. It's not a traditional plate lunch per se, but dang! It's good! My business partner goes there almost every day.

Otherwise, the usual suspects for plate lunches would be L&L Drive In, Rainbow Drive In (President Obama's choice), Zippy's, Good to Grill. Good to Grill is a notch above other plate lunches for the value and quality for the price.
