I am in Nashville where it was a delightful 13 degrees last night. I am counting the minutes until I get back to watching the whales and albatross from my lanai and get to walk at Hanalei Bay!

Up here in The Frozen North, we had some fun (?) last night as we drove home from a day at SIL/BIL's farm. The temp hit -28 C. (-16 F.) as we arrived home. You think I wasn't dreaming of Hawaii?
The highlight of my day was going for a 3 hour highway snowplow run with my BIL, a first for me. Meanwhile, DW went on a long snowmobile ride.
So, after all that, here I am looking at the Hawaii Forum. What could be more opposite than that?
While I do remember seeing some pictures last week of lots of fresh snow on the top of the Big Island volcano, today I am thinking of fresh, fragrant tropical breezes, going on whale watches, hitting the little white ball into places where lava rock isn't, and soaking up some Aloha. Right now, that is the carrot dangling on the stick, that will get me through this COLD winter!
