Hi there:

I'm in the middle of planning a June 2007 YNP trip and everything is working out perfectly except for a car rental (just one minor important detail since we are flying in from CT... LOL).

Enterprise apparently doesn't have a Jackson Hole location; Dollar in Bozeman will only allow a return in Bozeman....I'm getting nervous that this isn't possible.

Anyone have any recommendations or have done this route before? I"ll be trying all the other agencies - and if nothing comes up will have to consider rerouting the trip. But we really wanted to see as much as possible without looping back.

I used the BOOK link on Fodors to get to Expedia and entered request for your one way rental in June. They indicated that Alamo and Hertz(?) would do it. One Expedia, Kayak, Travelocity or one of those to find a company. We rented a one-way from Jackson Hole to Seattle that way.

We were out west last August. We flew into Rapid City and flew out of Bozeman. The only car rental that let you do one way rental was Hertz. They also would have let you return to Jackson Hole and billings. We left Yellowstone and just decided Bozeman had best flights for us.

We did this through Budget, I believe. Pick up in Bozeman and drop off in Jackson.
