Has Anyone Been to Mars 2112 ?
Is this New York restaurant as horrible as some reviews claim? We have two children in our family group going to NYC at Christmas and I am considering this restaurant if it would be really fun for the 9 and 6 year old. Has anyone eaten there?

Well, as they say, "The devil you know is better than the devil you don't." I guess it's better than going to a restaurant and expecting it to be wonderful, lol.
Thanks for your replies. I believe I will put it on the itinerary with a disclaimer.

You will pay a lot of money for bad food.
But the kids will love it. Mine still want to go back. We've been 3x and that is enough.
If you've eaten at Jekyl and Hyde, the food is worse at Mars.
Go for the experience. My kids loved the ride, too.

We went to Mars 2112 when our kids were 4, 6 & 10. They loved it. It is similar to a Disney character meal where the aliens come to your table and you can take pictures. The kids really did love it. As for the food - I would recommend sticking to the basics and you will do okay.
