In my opinion what's degrading is when casinos take advantage of unsuspecting novice gamblers who don't know how things actually work.
People who believe in the various gamblers' fallacies about luck and hot streaks and such.
Gambling is like alcohol.
When you understand how it works and you use it appropriately, it can be entertaining and enjoyable.
But the casinos love nothing more than novice gamblers who go in and drop money hand over fist because they don't understand the system.
Sure, it's everyone's right to be able to go in and drop money left and right.
But you can make the experience more enjoyable by learning the rules.
