Harlem Sunday gospel singing..where?

Together with two friends, I would like to attend a church service in Harlem where there will be gospel singing and where non-congregants are welcome. We wil be happy to make a donation. Would like to have recommendations and general times for the singing. Thanks!

Thanks! Sounds excellent....the issue is where to eat afterwards...Amy Ruth's does not appear to be open on Sundays. Miss Mamie's does not have good reviews from what I read... Not interested in Sylvia's...

By any chance are there any churches that would fit my requirements closer to Charles Southern Kitchen, which is at 151st and 8th?

...if no one has any recs for a service near Charles, we can always go for African food along 116th Street, which is not too long a walk from the MemorialBC church linked above...

While not quite Harlem, you could also go to Rack & Soul at 109th and Broadway

Isn't that the place of Charles, from Charles Southern? Do they have great ribs? Or chicken?

I also thought of Dinousaur BBQ, on 131st Street and 12th Avenue, near Fairway, which I like a lot...but would like to be able to walk to a place after the church service...

Does anyone have other options for the church service, closer to one of these eateries?

Or we can do the African place, Africa Kine, on West 116th Street, not far from the church recommended above by McClaurie..

yes it is the same place. Great ribs and fried chicken. It's more of an UWS vibe than Harlem, but great food.
