I guess this is a good time to bring up Storm King Art Center, a wonderful sculpture park (mostly modern monumental) with a art museum and picnic tables, too. stormking.org

Thanks, AJP.! Says there is a bus from NYC.

Don't you wonder about the huge studios the sculptors need? An artist acquaintance I met actually had a studio large enough for the horses she painted!
