Greenwich Village/Soho B&B's
Does anyone know anything about Room in Soho Loft,Incentra Village House or A Garden in Chelsea? I'm thinking about staying at one of these for a couple of weeks over the summer - if anyone's stayed at any of them or has visited them and could let me know what they're like, that'd be great.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know Room in Soho Loft. I've heard of the other 2 and think they'd be ok. Incentra is near the meatpacking district and was NY's first gay inn. I believe it caters now to both gay and straight. Have you seen these?

Thanks a lot - I had a look at West Eleventh but they were booked up for the dates I wanted. I'll check the other two out now. I'm going with a friend and neither of us are gay or fussed about being too close to the meatpacking district (will probably go a couple of times at night but that's all). We'd would like somewhere laidback and fun to wander around in during the day though - which would you recommend?

There are a number of other options in the village. Info here

I think the village is fun for poking around but so is Soho. I'd pick the place with the best accomodation.
