Great Steaks in Houston, Tx

I need to make reservations for my boss for this Sunday night -- he wants a really good steak place in Houston -- hopefully around the Galleria. Help?

How about Capital Grille or Churrasco's? There's also Vic and Anthony's closer to downtown. Perry's is good too or Pappas Steakhouse.

You can go to www.b4-u-eat.com and put in "Steaks" and "Galleria" and read the reviews. Capital Grille seems to have the best reviews by far; Morton's and Smith & Wollensky less so.

Capital Grille or Pappas Steakhouse would be my choices. Morton's Steakhouse is also popular and just across the street from the Galleria. My favorite steakhouse is Striphouse, but it is downtown.

Pappas is the local flavor. Capital is good everywhere. But I would go for Pappas.

Perry's has several locations around Houston's. Also a local place, but consistently superb. If there is one near the Galleria, I would rate equal to Pappas.

AS above mentioned, if you're looking to stay around the Galleria, than Morton's is really convenient. But if you want an AMAZING steak experience, go to Vic and Anthony's downtown. YOu will not be disappointed..... After trying steak restaurants all across the country, V&A is near the top of my list!

Hey you guys! Since you know about steaks in Houston, you must live there. Don't you want to come to a Fodors GetTogether?? Tuesday 10/23.

My daughter considers herself a "steak afficionado" and says "Pappas" is the place to go.

I know Smith & Wollensky also has good reviews.
