Great Offer at SF Hotel
From a New York Times article: Hotel Galleria Park in San Francisco is offering a promotion for which you pay the sum of the digits of your birth year. For example if you were born in 1951, your room rate would be $51 per night for a single or double. The offer is good from 11/15 thru 3/31. I just went to the site and randomly typed in a reservation request for 11/15, and the room rates ranged from $99 to $260. This is a nice boutique hotel, which is part of the Kimpton group. Check it out at:

I'm not affiliated with the hotel in any way. Just like to pass along good opportunities!

It's legit. I've made a reservation for December. Over the phone, the lowest rate they will give you is $60, but when you check in and show ID, you get the "pay the year you were born rate."
If you drive, be advised, parking is $30 a night. But it's a very good location.
