greasewoods flats ,scottsdale

I read about this restaurant in a few sites and it sounds fun. Is it an appropriate place for dinner for me (mom) and my 13 yr old daughter? we will be staying at the 4 seasons, which I believe is close.
any other more casual/ fun suggestions if this is not a good one? we do not want to drive far, and do not need a fussy place.
thanks

nearby is Pinnacle Peak Patio, the oldest cowboy steak place in Scottsdale. I think Reata Pass restaurant is also open. It is very near Greasewood.

Greasewood is perfect for your situation. Friday and Saturday nights could be a little raucous for a 13 year old, but kids are allowed with a parent. This is one of my all time faves for tourists.

Pinnacle Peak Patio is pretty touristy, but I guess you are tourists, after all! Reata Pass is fun too.

Its a fun place but please be prepared. I am not sure what you read about it..but here is my impression....Its mostly a biker bar, with a mix of tourists. Burgers and fries are pretty much the only thing on the menu and the bathrooms are pretty nasty....That being said - there is usually a good musician/band playing and on colder nights a big campfire going. There are picnic tables set up all around and its a neat place to sit and chat with people you dont know...

We are grandparents. Our son and family have taken us to Greasewood along with their young children a few times. We enjoyed it and will go again next time we visit them in Cave Creek. The crowd did not seem rough at all.
